Using Turco
By downloading, accessing, or using Turco, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use Turco on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for it.
These terms form an agreement between you and Barış Yalçınkaya, operating as a sole proprietor, with a postal address at Caferağa Mahallesi Şifa Sokak No: 19, Kadıköy / İstanbul / Türkiye (“Turco”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement in your country. If you are under the age required to agree on your own, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these terms for you.
Your licence to use Turco
We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Turco for your own learning, subject to these terms and the rules of the store where you obtained the app.
This licence does not transfer ownership of the app, recordings, lessons, illustrations, trademarks, or other Turco content. You may not copy, sell, redistribute, publicly perform, scrape, reverse engineer, or create competing training material from Turco except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Subscriptions and purchases
Turco is freemium. Some lessons or features require the annual Turco Premium subscription shown on the paywall. Turco does not currently offer a free trial. The exact local price, billing period, taxes where applicable, and included access are shown before you confirm a purchase. Apple or Google processes your payment under the terms of your store account.
Subscriptions may renew automatically unless you cancel them through your store account before renewal. Removing Turco from your device does not cancel an active subscription. Refunds and billing disputes are handled under the applicable store rules and mandatory consumer law.
Closing the paywall continues into the free app and does not create a subscription. Restoring purchases does not create a new charge. We may change future subscription prices or benefits only with the notice and consent required by the relevant store and applicable law.
Privacy, analytics, and crash diagnostics
Turco does not require registration and does not provide a user login account. Purchases and subscription management use your Apple App Store or Google Play account.
Our Privacy Policy explains how Turco, Amplitude, Adapty, Sentry, Vercel, Cloudflare, Apple, and Google handle information in connection with the app and website.
Turco uses limited first-party product analytics to understand how its own features are used and limited crash diagnostics to improve reliability. These tools are not used for advertising or to track you across other companies’ apps or websites. Details and your privacy rights are explained in the Privacy Policy.
Learning content
Turco is an educational tool. We work to make vocabulary, translations, examples, recordings, and cultural context useful and accurate, but language can vary by region, situation, and speaker. Turco is not a substitute for professional translation, legal advice, medical advice, or emergency assistance.
Downloaded or offline content remains subject to these terms. Availability may change when content is corrected, updated, retired, or when your subscription ends.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Turco. In particular, you must not:
- Interfere with the app, website, feedback service, or their security.
- Attempt unauthorised access to systems, data, or another person’s device.
- Use automated tools to extract or reproduce substantial parts of Turco content.
- Submit unlawful, abusive, misleading, infringing, or malicious feedback.
- Use Turco in a way that violates applicable law or another person’s rights.
Ownership and feedback
Turco and its original content are owned by Turco or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Apple, Google, and other third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners.
If you send a correction, suggestion, or other feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or payment to improve Turco. You keep ownership of any original material you submit.
Availability and changes
We may update, add, remove, or suspend features and content to improve Turco, protect users, comply with law, or operate the service. We do not promise that every feature will always be available on every device or in every country.
We may restrict access when these terms are materially violated or when necessary to protect Turco and its users. Provisions that by their nature should continue—including ownership, disclaimers, and responsibility limits—remain effective after access ends.
Responsibility and consumer rights
Turco is provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties that are not expressly stated in these terms and are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses arising from use of the service.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights, remedies, warranties, or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. If consumer law in your country gives you stronger protections, those protections continue to apply.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Turco evolves. The latest version and date will appear here. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide appropriate notice before it takes effect where required.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This choice does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer protection available under the law of the country where you habitually reside.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms may be submitted to the courts, consumer arbitration committees, or other competent authorities that have jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits your right to bring a claim before a competent authority where mandatory consumer law permits.
Before starting formal proceedings, you and Turco agree to make a reasonable effort to resolve the issue by contacting the other party. This does not restrict any right to seek urgent relief, use an applicable consumer dispute process, or complain to a regulator.
